I recently stayed at Hotel Odette En Ville for two nights, and there were some ups and downs. The hotel has a charming and unique ambiance, with a cozy décor that’s perfect for couples. However, I encountered a serious issue with sewage odor in my first room, which definitely put a damper on my experience. While the staff were friendly and quick to assist, the food at the restaurant didn’t meet my expectations, leaving me a bit disappointed.

Rooms

My room was nicely decorated and comfortable, but I had a major issue with the smell of sewage in my first room. The second room was much better, though the lack of a stand-up shower was a minor inconvenience.
Service

The staff were friendly and responsive, moving me to another room promptly after I reported the issue with sewage odor. However, I expected a better initial room allocation considering the circumstances.

The location is excellent, situated near Avenue Louise and within walking distance to trendy spots and shopping areas, making it convenient for exploring Brussels.

I found the dining experience to be quite underwhelming. The food didn't live up to the restaurant's reputation, and while some dishes were decent, others were disappointing, especially considering the price point.

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Odette En Ville, though it wasn't without its quirks. The rooms were beautifully decorated and super cozy, making for a nice retreat. However, I felt the ambiance was a bit too dark for my taste, and the public spaces were limited. Nonetheless, the location was great for exploring the city, away from the typical tourist traps.

My Deluxe Double Room was fab, spacious, and had a large bath that added a touch of luxury. The decor was stylish and comfort was definitely a plus.

The staff were friendly and eager to help, which made the stay enjoyable. However, there was a bit of inconsistency in managing the bar's volume, which detracted from the experience.
Location

The hotel’s location was spot-on for accessing various spots around the city without diving into heavily touristed areas. It was nestled in a vibrant neighborhood, close to shopping on Avenue Louise.

The restaurant served up some excellent dishes, with quality food presentation to boot. I particularly loved the unique dessert options, like the Ile Flottante, which you absolutely gotta try!

While the bar had a chic ambiance, I felt it could use a tad more lighting to create a more inviting atmosphere. Laundry service was also an option, which added convenience.

My stay at Odette en Ville was a mix of charm and frustration. The cozy atmosphere and wonderful decor caught my attention, but my initial experience was marred by an overpowering sewage smell in my first room. While the staff responded well to my complaint and moved me to another room, the quality of the dining experience left much to be desired.

I had a generally pleasant stay at Odette En Ville, as the staff's friendliness truly stood out, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. However, the issues with the restaurant being closed and a bit of warmth in my room took away from the experience slightly. Despite this, the beautifully decorated rooms and the hotel’s charming ambiance made up for those minor setbacks.

I recently stayed at Hotel Odette En Ville and was quite impressed with its charming atmosphere and unique design. The rooms were stylish and comfortable, but I had an unfortunate experience with a strong sewage smell in my first room. The restaurant offered good food, but I encountered some hiccups with the service during breakfast. Overall, it has a lot of potential as a romantic getaway, but there are some areas that need improvement.
